Pricing Consultant
Description:
Responsible for providing the client's team with consultation and training on pricing strategies by analyzing and sharing concepts to maximize the profit margin and help to improve the competitiveness and profitability of the business
Key responsibilities:
Directing sales pricing strategies, while seeking margin, index, and price image gains
Monitoring sales results, margins, and competitiveness indices
Controlling and seeking the best sales price strategy for each category, and working with Pricing Managers and members from the commercial department when necessary
Monitoring the implementation of the price policy previously defined with the company's management team
Analyzing and monitoring the implementation of sales prices in the pricing tool, thus ensuring the achievement of established indices
Influencing decisions on issues related to sales price (competitor prices, sales and purchase price fluctuations, tax changes, etc.)
Training the commercial department according to the margin performance of the categories in comparison to the market prices in each region
Training and supporting the pricing team to use the pricing and negotiation tools
Facilitating all interdisciplinary projects related to pricing
Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of the Office suite (essential software: Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of retail pricing processes
Knowledge of business math
Logical and analytical reasoning
Negotiation and influence skills
